Freedom Ordnance FX9 Features The Freedom Ordnance FX9 was designed from the outset to be completely modular allowing the pistol to be outfitted with any Freedom Ordnance barrel length and customized with a nearly endless range of AR-15 accessories. Machined from billet material with type III anodized aluminum components the receiver houses steel internals including the barrel bolt ejector last round hold open feed ramp and extractor all full hard black nitrided for extended wear and corrosion resistance. The 10 inch barrel feeds a blowback operating system and cycles reliably with Glock-pattern magazines holding 31 rounds for extended range sessions without reloading. A picatinny rail receiver provides a dependable mounting surface for red dots or other optics suited to a pistol caliber carbine. An AR15-pattern pistol grip safety selector magazine release and rear charging handle keep manipulation familiar to anyone experienced with the AR-15 platform easing the learning curve for new owners. The free float M-LOK handguard adds mounting space for lights lasers or foregrips while the 3 inch faux suppressor gives the muzzle a distinctive balanced look. A threaded 1/2x28 barrel allows the faux suppressor to be swapped for other muzzle devices as needed. Shipped with an SB Tactical SBA3 brace and configured for right-hand use the FX9 gives shooters a lightweight highly adaptable 9mm pistol platform for recreational shooting or home defense.
