Ed Brown 1776 Commemorative Edition Features The Ed Brown 1776 Commemorative Edition is built on a single stack government model frame in .45 ACP a configuration that has defined serious 1911 craftsmanship for generations. The stainless steel frame slide and barrel are all finished to match giving the pistol a uniform durable surface that resists corrosion and wear through years of carry or range use. The left side of the slide is engraved 250 Years of Freedom 1776-2026 marking a milestone anniversary on a pistol built to be handed down. American flag pattern cocking serrations on the rear of the slide add a distinctive patriotic touch while still providing a secure gripping surface for manipulating the slide. A gold bead front sight paired with a fixed black rear sight gives a fast high-contrast sight picture that is equally useful on the range or in the field. The long solid trigger and bobbed hammer are classic Ed Brown custom touches that improve trigger reach and reduce the chance of hammer bite during extended shooting sessions. Hand polished Micarta burlap grip panels provide a secure textured purchase that holds up to recoil and repeated handling without deteriorating like wood can. The pistol ships complete with an Ed Brown bag two Performance magazines with base pad kits lubricant an owner s manual a bushing wrench a grip screw wrench and a cable lock making the 1776 Commemorative Edition a fully equipped heirloom-grade 1911 for sale at GrabAGun.
