Ed Brown 1911 2nd Amendment Features The Ed Brown 1911 2nd Amendment pairs the classic 5 inch Government balance with a full stainless steel frame barrel and serrated slide for a pistol built to handle regular use without sacrificing its finish. The serrated slide improves grip during manipulation while the stainless construction throughout resists corrosion better than blued steel over years of carry and range time. An orange HD XR night sight up front paired with a black rear sight gives shooters a fast high contrast sight picture in both bright daylight and low light conditions. Chambered in .45 ACP with a 7+1 capacity this pistol delivers the stopping power the caliber is known for in a platform refined over more than a century of use. Black Alien G10 grips provide a secure textured hold that stands up to sweat and recoil far better than traditional wood or plastic panels and they are paired here with an exclusive snakeskin forestrap and mainspring housing for additional purchase. American Flag rear slide serrations and bold 2nd Amendment engraving on the slide along with FREEDOM engraved on the bushing give this pistol unapologetic American styling that stands out in a collection or on the range. A 3 hole trigger breaks cleanly and is a hallmark of Ed Brown s custom shop fitting process. Every pistol ships with an Ed Brown pistol bag two performance magazines with base pad kits lubricant an owners manual a bushing wrench a grip screw wrench and a cable lock giving buyers everything needed to put the pistol into service immediately.
