Cold Steel Mini Leatherneck Features The Cold Steel Mini Leatherneck scales down the larger Leatherneck series into a compact fixed blade suited for everyday carry and light field tasks. Its 3.5 inch clip point blade is ground from 8Cr13MoV stainless steel a tough and affordable steel that holds a plain edge well through regular use. A stainless steel guard with broad quillons protects the fingers from sliding forward onto the edge during hard use a detail borrowed directly from Cold Steel s full size Leatherneck knives. At 3mm thick the blade stock provides enough rigidity for utility cutting and light prying without unnecessary bulk. The Kray-Ex handle measures 3.25 inches and is contoured in black for a secure non-slip grip whether the user s hands are wet cold or gloved. A tough Secure-Ex sheath accompanies the knife accepting either a bead lanyard or an optional Cold Steel C-Clip for flexible carry on a belt or pack strap. At a total weight of just 3.3 ounces and an overall length of 6.75 inches the Mini Leatherneck stays light enough for daily carry while still delivering a capable cutting edge. The Cold Steel Mini Leatherneck is an affordable dependable fixed blade for hikers campers and everyday carry users alike.
