Cold Steel Spetsnaz Special Forces Features The Cold Steel Spetsnaz Special Forces Shovel pairs a 2mm thick carbon steel blade with a sturdy American Hickory handle giving it the strength to dig foxholes and bunkers or chop through branches when building a shelter. Its broad flat head carries three sharp edges turning a simple digging tool into a versatile cutting implement for camp chores and field tasks. At 19.68 inches overall and 25.70 ounces the shovel is light enough to pack yet heavy enough to put real force behind every strike. Military and special operations units have relied on this entrenching tool design for decades and that proven history carries over into this civilian version. Beyond digging and chopping the Spetsnaz shovel doubles as an improvised paddle and has even served as a last resort weapon of self defense in the field. Its head heavy balance makes it a favorite in the throwing community as well where it is used as an alternative to a tomahawk for sport and recreational throwing. The included Cor-Ex sheath protects the blade edges during transport and storage keeping the shovel ready to grab for the next trip. The Cold Steel Spetsnaz Special Forces Shovel is for sale at GrabAGun for campers survivalists and throwing competitors who want one tool that covers several jobs.
