Cold Steel Demko Hawk Features The Cold Steel Demko Hawk is forged from a single piece of 65Mn carbon steel a construction method that eliminates weak points found in hawks built from separate head and handle components. Designed by custom knife maker Andrew Demko the tomahawk pairs a wide chopping blade on one side with a sturdy spike on the opposite face giving the user two distinct functions in one tool. The black-finished blade measures a thickness of 0.20 inches providing enough mass behind the edge for effective chopping without excessive weight. This dual-purpose head design makes the Demko Hawk useful for clearing brush splitting kindling or breaching barriers depending on which side is brought to bear. A 9.50 inch heavy duty nylon handle extends the tomahawk s overall length to 17.50 inches giving the user enough leverage for powerful swings while keeping the tool light enough to carry comfortably. The nylon handle is also finished in black matching the blade for a consistent understated appearance in the field. A sheath is included to protect the edge and spike during transport or storage making the Demko Hawk ready to carry straight out of the box. At roughly 24 ounces outdoorsmen and tactical users seeking a durable single-piece survival tomahawk will find the Demko Hawk a well-balanced addition to their kit for sale at GrabAGun.
