Cadex Defence CDX-40 SHDW Features The Cadex Defence CDX-40 SHDW is built around a 32 match grade threaded barrel finished in black DLC with a 1:7 twist rate suited to stabilizing the heavy long-range projectiles that .375 CheyTac fires. The MX1 muzzle brake tames recoil from this magnum cartridge letting the shooter stay on the scope and spot impacts at extended distances. A 7/8x24 thread pattern under the brake gives room for a suppressor when the mission calls for reduced signature. Steel construction on the barrel and a 5-groove rifling profile support the accuracy this rifle is built to deliver out to 4000 yards under the right conditions. The black DLC coated aluminum receiver keeps weight more manageable than steel while standing up to hard use and the integrated Picatinny rail provides a stable repeatable mounting surface for long-range optics. An adjustable folding buttstock lets the shooter tailor length of pull and fit and folds down for easier transport and storage between strings of fire. The black polymer grip and ambidextrous safety keep the controls comfortable and accessible for right and left-handed shooters alike. Feeding from a 7-round capacity magazine and tipping the scales at 19.9 lbs bare the Cadex Defence CDX-40 SHDW is a purpose-built platform for extreme-range precision and anti-materiel work.
