Banish M16x1 Piston Features The Banish M16x1 Piston is designed to let the Banish 45 multi-caliber and modular suppressor mount on host firearms that use the M16x1 left-hand thread pattern a common spec among factory-threaded .45 Caliber pistol barrels. Rather than owning a dedicated suppressor for each host Banish 45 owners simply swap the piston at the rear of the can to match whatever barrel thread they are running that day. This piston is machined from heat-treated steel giving it the strength and wear resistance to stand up to repeated mounting and dismounting over the life of the suppressor. The heat treatment also helps the piston resist the heat and stress generated during sustained firing. Each Banish piston is engraved with its thread diameter pitch and rotation direction so installation stays straightforward even when switching between several pistons for different hosts. The left-hand thread engraving on this piston calls out its M16x1 LH specification clearly preventing a mismatched or cross-threaded installation. Finished in Silver the piston is a simple functional accessory rather than a cosmetic upgrade. Banish 45 owners expanding their suppressor s host compatibility will find this piston a straightforward way to add another firearm to their lineup.
