Area 419 Arcalock Universal Weight-Tunable Rail Features The Area 419 Arcalock Universal Weight-Tunable Rail builds on the mechanically locking ARCALOCK system that Area 419 introduced in 2018 improving on standard friction based ARCA dovetails with a design that cannot slip loose under use. Recognizing the rising popularity of rifle weight kits alongside ARCA rails Area 419 integrated a weight tuning system directly into this rail allowing shooters to add or remove mass to fine tune rifle balance for their position or discipline. At .400 inches thick the rail is noticeably more substantial than the company s standard 14 12 and 10 inch Universal ARCALOCK rails which run .270 inches thick. This added material supports the weight system while keeping the rail itself rigid and stable. This 14.25 inch rail is designed to fit approximately 98 percent of Manners PRS1 T2A T2A GAP T4A T4A TEAM and T5A stocks giving precision rifle shooters broad compatibility without custom fitting. Five included weights each weighing 3.5 ounces bring the fully loaded rail to about 23.6 ounces from a bare weight just over 6 ounces. T-nut hardware is included to add attachment points if factory installed points do not align with the rail s mounting slots and the rail can also mount to M-LOK though M-LOK hardware is sold separately. Finished in black hardcoat anodizing with raw brass weights this rail gives competitive shooters a precise way to manage rifle balance and recoil impulse.
