AccuSharp 2-Step Knife Sharpener Features The AccuSharp 2-Step Knife Sharpener uses a two stage system to take a blade from dull to sharp without requiring any special skill or technique from the user. The first stage features diamond honed tungsten carbide a coarse material capable of quickly removing metal to reshape a dull nicked or damaged edge. Because the carbide blades are pre-angled within the sharpener body the correct sharpening angle is maintained automatically with every pass eliminating the inconsistency that comes with freehand sharpening on a stone. This coarse stage is ideal for knives that have seen heavy use or have not been sharpened in some time. The second stage swaps to ceramic rods a finer material that refines and polishes the edge left behind by the carbide stage into a smoother sharper finish. Moving between the two stages lets the user go from a rough damaged edge to a fine working edge in just a few passes through the hand held tool. Its compact size and simple two step design make it easy to use for anyone regardless of prior sharpening experience. Finished in blue and white the AccuSharp 2-Step Knife Sharpener is a practical tool for hunters campers and everyday knife owners who want to maintain their blades without a complicated sharpening system.
