The Scott Ransom Pro 600 brings a real all-mountain platform down to a size that fits kids riding 26-inch wheels. SRAM's 11-speed NX Eagle drivetrain and Shimano hydraulic disc brakes give the kind of precise, reliable control that all-mountain trails demand. Both the fork and shock carry a kids' specific build so the whole package is sized and sprung for riders in the 135 to 145 centimeter range rather than being a scaled-down adult bike bolted together with smaller parts. What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I set a kid on the Ransom Pro 600 for a lap through a rock garden, and the kids' bike tune on the X-Fusion suspension actually moved instead of locking up like a shrunk-down adult fork. The rear end tracked small, fast hits that would normally bounce a lighter rider off line. This is the bike I'd hand a 135 to 145 centimeter rider who's already outgrowing trail bikes and is ready for real bike park laps."
