The Atomic Maven 86 C Ski comes matched with the Stage GW 11 Binding, so the ski's carbon-backed speed always has a secure, dialed-in release underneath it. The binding's precise release settings and adjustable brake width give the setup a stable floor to ski from, while the ski's quick edge-to-edge handling gives a developing skier room to push harder without second-guessing the gear underfoot. This pairing grows with the skier instead of holding them at one speed. What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I pushed this ski faster than I expected to on a groomed run, and the binding's release never felt vague or delayed, it just held until I needed it to let go. That kind of confidence is what let me keep pushing instead of backing off."
