Winchester Deer Season XP Features The Winchester Deer Season XP bullet is built with a streamlined profile and a large polymer tip a combination engineered to deliver accurate predictable ballistic characteristics at extended ranges. The jacketed lead construction pairs a contoured tapered jacket with an alloyed lead core a design intended to ensure reliable terminal penetration on game. This accelerated expansion is designed to create rapid energy transfer producing devastating trauma on impact for quick ethical harvests. At 140 grains and a .264 diameter this bullet is matched specifically to 6.5mm centerfire rifle cartridges favored by hunters for their flat trajectory and manageable recoil. Sold in a box of 100 this bullet gives reloaders a substantial supply for developing and refining hunting loads across a hunting season. Winchester manufactures its component bullets to precise specifications aiming to deliver consistent repeatable performance characteristics load after load. Because this is a component bullet rather than a loaded cartridge reloaders will still need to supply their own brass primers and propellant to complete a finished round. Winchester s reputation in both factory ammunition and reloading components gives handloaders confidence that this bullet will perform as designed when built into a properly assembled 6.5mm load.
