Wilson Combat Match Features The Wilson Combat Match bullet is centered on Lehigh Defense s Maximum Expansion technology a design that trades a traditional hollow point cavity for a 3-petal nose profile engineered to peel open on impact. That petal geometry drives large-diameter wound channels while the solid-copper style construction helps the projectile hold onto its mass through expansion so handloaders get dependable terminal performance shot after shot. At 194 grains and a .308 diameter this bullet is purpose matched to the .300 AAC Blackout cartridge for reloaders building subsonic or supersonic loads. The .545 ballistic coefficient and .292 sectional density combine to give the bullet a flat trajectory and strong penetration for its weight class. Each box supplies 50 component bullets giving handloaders enough material to develop and test a load across multiple charge weights before committing to a final recipe. Because this is a bare projectile and not loaded ammunition reloaders control every other variable brass selection primer powder charge and seating depth to tune the round for their specific barrel and twist rate. The Maximum Expansion profile is especially suited to .300 AAC Blackout shooters running subsonic loads through a suppressor where reliable expansion at reduced velocities is otherwise difficult to achieve. Wilson Combat s reputation for precision-built ammunition components makes this bullet a natural choice for reloaders who want factory-level consistency in a build-your-own load.
