UST Ultimate Survival Technologies Deluxe Map Compass Features The UST Ultimate Survival Technologies Deluxe Map Compass uses a liquid filled housing to dampen needle movement giving a stable accurate reading even while moving through rough terrain. A swivel bezel allows the user to dial in a precise heading while the built in magnifier makes it easier to read fine map details and small topographic markings in low light. The extended clear base plate improves visibility of the map beneath it letting hunters and hikers plot routes without obstruction. Multiple measuring scales on the base plate support precise distance calculations across different map formats. An adjustable marching line helps the user maintain a consistent bearing once a route is plotted reducing the chance of drifting off course in the field. At just 1.8 ounces and measuring 5 inches by 2.4 inches by 0.6 inches the compass is compact enough to clip onto a pack or stash in a pocket without adding noticeable weight. A breakaway lanyard is included so the compass can be worn around the neck and released safely if it snags on brush or gear. For hunters hikers and backcountry travelers who need dependable navigation the UST Deluxe Map Compass is available for sale at GrabAGun.
