Umarex Avera Features The Umarex Avera is built around an 8-shot rotary magazine system that makes reloading quick and simple a useful feature for target shooters running repeated strings at the range. Powered by a 12g CO2 cartridge housed in the grip frame the Avera sends 7 grain lead pellets downrange at 380 fps through its 6.6 inch barrel. The ergonomic 10-meter Olympic-inspired grip is contoured for a stable consistent hold shot after shot helping shooters focus on fundamentals rather than fighting the gun. A ported muzzle adds visual flair while also contributing to the pistol s balance and stability during firing. Loading CO2 is straightforward as the grip slides back to expose the CO2 chamber for quick cartridge changes. The quick-change magazine system operated by a red mag release on the side of the pistol lets shooters swap magazines rapidly between strings. A button-type trigger safety prevents the trigger from being pulled while the safety is engaged adding a layer of protection during handling. The Avera ships with three magazines and additional magazines are sold separately in packs of three while a universal Picatinny mount allows the addition of an optic or light for shooters who want to customize their setup.
