Templar Knife Gen III Features The Templar Knife Gen III uses a double action out the front mechanism meaning the blade both deploys and retracts automatically at the push of a button rather than requiring manual assistance in either direction. This design includes a built in safety feature that stops the blade if it encounters resistance before fully locking into the open position preventing damage to the mechanism or injury to the user. If this happens the blade can be reset simply by pulling it back to the locked position after which the knife is ready to use again. This fail safe design makes the Gen III dependable in situations where a knife needs to function without hesitation. The 3.5 inch dagger blade is made from 440C stainless steel a steel known for a good balance of edge retention and corrosion resistance at an accessible price point. A partially serrated edge combines fast piercing capability with a sawing section useful for cutting through tougher materials like rope or webbing. The large size Gen III measures 9 inches overall and includes a built in glass breaker for emergency use. Finished in black with a durable premium metal alloy handle and a spring pocket clip the Templar Knife Gen III gives users a reliable fast deploying automatic knife.
