Tapco AR-15 Gas Tube Features The Tapco AR-15 Gas Tube is sized specifically for a carbine length gas system so it routes gas from the block to the bolt carrier group over the correct distance for reliable cycling. Precise manufacturing tolerances keep the bends and overall length consistent which means the tube seats properly in the gas block and the carrier key without binding during installation. Anodized black finishing protects the tube against the heat and carbon fouling that a gas system sees every time the rifle fires. Because the tube is engineered to Tapco s own specifications it integrates seamlessly with factory and aftermarket carbine length AR-15 gas systems alike. A worn bent or pitted gas tube is a common source of short stroking and failures to cycle so swapping in a correctly sized replacement like this one is an inexpensive way to restore reliable function. The carbine length sizing matches the most common AR-15 configuration making this tube a practical spare to keep on hand for any builder running that platform. Tapco s anodized coating resists corrosion over repeated firing cycles helping the part hold up through sustained use at the range or in training. The Tapco AR-15 Gas Tube is a straightforward affordable upgrade or repair part for sale at GrabAGun for anyone maintaining a carbine length AR-15.
