Tapco AR Hook Features The Tapco AR Hook attaches to the AR-15 s take down pin hooking the upper receiver to the lower to hold the rifle open at a convenient angle for cleaning. This eliminates the need to balance the rifle awkwardly or have a second set of hands while scrubbing the bore or bolt carrier group. Its black finish matches the rest of a typical AR-15 build keeping the tool unobtrusive in a range bag or cleaning kit. Measuring 3.9 long and 2.8 wide the hook is compact enough to store easily alongside other cleaning gear. In addition to holding the rifle open the top of the AR Hook functions as a rod guide directing a cleaning rod straight through the bore and protecting the crown from accidental rod contact. This dual function makes the AR Hook a useful addition to any tactical cleaning kit simplifying what is otherwise a multi-step process. Its simple durable design means it will hold up to repeated use without needing replacement. The Tapco AR Hook is for sale at GrabAGun for AR-15 owners who want faster easier and more consistent cleaning sessions.
