Tapco Self Timing Muzzle Brake Features The Tapco Self Timing Muzzle Brake is designed to redirect propellant gas at the muzzle cutting down on both felt recoil and muzzle rise on rifles chambered in .30 Cal. The self timing design simplifies installation letting the shooter index the brake correctly without relying on crush washers or custom shimming to get the ports aligned. Built from heat treated 4140 steel the brake holds up to the heat and pressure of repeated firing without losing its shape or function. A 5/8x24 thread pitch matches the standard threading found on most .30 caliber rifles making this brake a drop in upgrade for many factory and aftermarket barrels. The black Nitride finish adds a layer of corrosion resistance to the 4140 steel body helping the brake shrug off the elements during long days at the range or in the field. That same finish gives the brake a low glare tactical black appearance that matches most modern rifle builds. By reducing recoil and keeping the muzzle flatter between shots the Self Timing Muzzle Brake helps shooters track their target and get back on target faster for a follow-up shot. The Tapco Self Timing Muzzle Brake is available for sale at GrabAGun for rifle owners looking to tame recoil on their .30 caliber platform.
