Shooters Choice Gun Bluing Kit Features The Shooters Choice Gun Bluing Kit uses a cold blue two part chemical process that bonds directly to bare steel and colors it to closely match a factory bluing job. The kit supplies two ounces of Gun Blue one ounce of Gun Cleaner Gel specifically formulated to properly prep the metal before refinishing a half ounce of Curing Agent to help set the finish and a half ounce of Lubricant to protect the newly blued surface afterward. Because the kit includes enough chemical volume for up to three complete re-blues or many smaller touch-ups it offers real value for anyone maintaining more than one firearm over time. Following the proper prep steps with the included Gun Cleaner Gel rather than acetone or other solvents is essential since residues from other chemicals can interfere with the bonding process. Rounding out the 9 piece kit are applicators a microfiber cloth steel wool and scour pads giving the user everything needed to apply the bluing chemicals correctly without hunting down separate supplies. This complete self-contained approach makes the kit practical for home gunsmiths and hobbyists who want professional-looking results without specialized equipment. Whether touching up high-wear areas like a muzzle or slide or completely refinishing an older firearm the kit is designed to deliver a durable attractive blued finish. The Shooters Choice Gun Bluing Kit is for sale at GrabAGun for anyone looking to restore or refresh their firearm s finish.
