Sellier and Bellot Rifle Ammunition Features The Sellier and Bellot Rifle load in 7x64mm Brenneke is built around a 173 grain Soft Point Cut Through Edge bullet engineered so the cutting edge locks the jacket and lead core together through impact. That bonded construction keeps the bullet from fragmenting prematurely which translates into deeper more consistent penetration on game. At 2526 fps and 2451 ft lbs of muzzle energy this load carries plenty of authority for light to medium game at practical hunting ranges. The result is a clean entrance wound and a distinct easy-to-follow blood trail that helps hunters recover game quickly. Brass casing gives the cartridge dependable extraction and consistent chamber sealing across a hunting season of use. Twenty rounds ship per box enough for sighting in a rifle and still having ammunition in reserve for opening day. This load is purpose-built for hunting applications rather than target shooting matching its bullet design to the task of taking medium game ethically.
