Radian Weapons Guardian Optic Guard Features The Radian Weapons Guardian Optic Guard is machined from 7075 aluminum and hard anodized for durability built specifically to protect a Trijicon RCR mounted to a Glock MOS slide from impact damage. Its design wraps protection around the top front and side of the optic areas most vulnerable to snags drops and hard use in duty or competition environments. Optional back-up iron sights can be added for an unobstructed forward sight picture even with the guard installed giving shooters a fallback aiming solution if the optic ever fails. This combination of physical protection and sighting redundancy makes the Guardian a serious upgrade for anyone running a red dot equipped pistol hard. The STUD-LOK threaded stud and nut mounting interface is engineered to be one of the most secure mounting systems available providing significantly longer thread engagement than typical screw-based mounts along with greater hold down power and increased resistance to shear forces under recoil. TRU-SEAL technology eliminates the need for a separate sealing plate by using pre-installed O-rings on the mounting screws which keep the plate watertight against the slide and block moisture from reaching and corroding the mounting threads. At 1.25 inches tall and 1.10 inches wide the guard adds real protection without excessive bulk on the slide. For pistol owners seeking the strongest available protection for a mounted red dot the Radian Weapons Guardian Optic Guard is available for sale at GrabAGun.
