Otis Small Caliber Cleaning Rod Features The Otis Technology Small Caliber Cleaning Rod is built as a single-piece 36 rod made specifically for cleaning .17 and .22 caliber rifles and airguns. Its dual-action ball bearing handle gives shooters a choice between a freely swiveling rod that turns with the rifling or a fixed setting for cleaning smooth bores and chambers without twisting. This flexibility helps prevent the rod from dragging a brush or patch against the rifling in a way that could cause uneven wear. A full-sized handle improves grip and control during cleaning making the process faster and less fatiguing during extended maintenance sessions. Constructed from coated stainless steel the rod is designed to clean effectively without scratching or damaging the bore an important consideration for small caliber rifles where tolerances are tight. The rod features 5-40 threads making it compatible with a wide range of Otis jags patches mops and brushes for removing fouling and debris. A hanging hole built into the handle allows for convenient storage when the rod is not in use. Made in the USA the Otis Technology Small Caliber Cleaning Rod offers shooters a durable American-made tool for keeping .17 and .22 caliber firearms and airguns performing at their best.
