Mechanix Cold Work Gloves Base Layer Features The Mechanix Wear Cold Work Base Layer Glove is built around a thin microfleece lined stretch SoftShell material that wraps the hand in warmth without adding bulk. That slim profile makes the glove sleek enough to be worn as a liner underneath another glove during extreme cold while still offering enough warmth and flexibility to function as a standalone glove in milder conditions. A water repellent treatment is applied to the SoftShell exterior helping the glove resist light rain snow and moisture on its own rather than relying entirely on an outer shell. A rollover cuff design creates a secure snug fit at the wrist that helps keep cold air and debris from working their way inside the glove. The palm combines a touchscreen capable thumb and index finger with Mechanix Wear s Padlock silicone grip pattern giving the wearer the ability to use a phone or device without removing the glove while maintaining improved grip strength in cold environments. That grip pattern helps maintain control over tools firearms or equipment even when hands are cold and dexterity would otherwise suffer. Sized X-Large and finished in coyote brown this glove suits hunters shooters and outdoor workers who need to maintain fine motor skills through long cold-weather days. For anyone layering up for winter conditions this base layer glove is a practical foundation piece.
