Integral anti-rotation tabs accurately align the upper receiver and prevent handguard rotation and flex keeping the handguard locked solid under recoil and hard use. The barrel nut fits over barrel diameters up to 1.05 and the handguard is compatible with standard mil-spec forged AR-15 upper receivers in either left or right hand configurations. Compatibility with billet upper receivers is not guaranteed so builders working from a forged mil-spec upper get the most reliable fit. An ergonomic octagonal profile with thoroughly machined lightening cuts keeps the handguard light in the hand while maintaining a comfortable grip surface for shooters running a variety of hold techniques.
