Kershaw Sanctum Features The Kershaw Sanctum carries a 2.98 inch wharncliffe blade made from 8Cr13MoV stainless steel a budget friendly alloy known for taking a sharp edge quickly and resharpening easily when that edge eventually dulls. The blade s blackwash finish helps hide use scratches that accumulate over time keeping the knife looking presentable even after months of daily carry and use. A pointed tip on the wharncliffe profile makes the blade effective for detail work and piercing tasks while the straight edge excels at large controlled slicing cuts. This versatility makes the Sanctum a genuinely useful everyday tool rather than a knife limited to one style of cutting. The handle is built from stainless steel finished in a gray PVD coating giving it a durable corrosion resistant surface along with a contoured shape that fits naturally in the hand. Kershaw s assisted opening mechanism works alongside a built in flipper to deploy the blade quickly and smoothly with minimal effort a feature that speeds up access when the knife is needed in a hurry. A sturdy frame lock secures the blade open during use providing confidence during harder cutting tasks. A reversible deep carry pocket clip supports both left and right hand carry and a custom lanyard hole rounds out a knife designed to be genuinely useful for nearly any EDC carrier.
