Iver Johnson Eagle Gen2 LR Features The Iver Johnson Arms Eagle Gen2 LR is built around a serrated steel slide and frame finished entirely in black QPQ a nitride process that resists wear corrosion and holster abrasion far better than standard bluing. The monoblock trigger design fuses the trigger bow and shoe into a single unit tightening tolerances and producing a crisper more consistent break than a pinned two-piece trigger. A beavertail grip safety combined with an ambidextrous thumb safety gives both left and right-handed shooters confident repeatable control under recoil. The flared ejection port ensures reliable case ejection across a range of 45 ACP loads reducing the chance of a stovepipe during rapid strings of fire. The cold hammer forged steel barrel is crowned for accuracy and chambered in 45 ACP pairing classic 1911 ballistics with modern manufacturing precision. Up front a fiber optic dovetail sight gathers ambient light for a bright aiming point while the adjustable white dot Novak rear sight allows the shooter to dial in windage and elevation for their preferred load. The Dymondwood engraved grips add both visual distinction and a secure textured hold that stands up to humidity and sweat better than standard wood. Every Eagle Gen2 LR ships complete with two magazines a barrel bushing wrench cleaning kit gun lock and a foam-cut case making it a ready-to-carry package for range days or concealed carry duty.
