Iver Johnson Eagle Gen 2 Nobel EX Features The Iver Johnson Arms Eagle Gen 2 Nobel EX wears a polished gold PVD finish with ornate scroll engraving across its steel frame and serrated slide a treatment that turns a working .45 ACP 1911 into a genuine showpiece. The 5 inch crowned barrel is cold hammer forged for long term accuracy and durability while a brass insert front sight paired with an adjustable white dot Novak rear sight gives the shooter a fast precise sight picture. A beavertail grip safety and an ambidextrous thumb safety work together to make the pistol comfortable and safe to carry and shoot for right and left handed users alike. The monoblock trigger with its bow and shoe machined from a single unit delivers a cleaner more consistent press than a built up trigger assembly. Exotic Amboina dark wood grips sourced from southeast Asia bring natural figure and warmth that contrasts beautifully against the gold PVD metalwork. The flared ejection port promotes smooth reliable extraction and the overall 8.5 inch length and 2.5 pound weight keep the pistol balanced in the hand. Iver Johnson Arms includes two magazines a barrel bushing wrench a cleaning kit a gun lock and a hard case with laser cut foam compartments shaped for each item. The Eagle Gen 2 Nobel EX suits collectors 1911 purists and anyone looking for a pistol that performs on the range and stands out in a display case.
