Iver Johnson Golden Eagle Gen 2 Features The Iver Johnson Arms Golden Eagle Gen 2 wears a Polished Gold PVD finish across its steel frame slide and cold hammer forged barrel giving the pistol a distinctive eye-catching appearance that stands apart from a typical blued or stainless 1911. The ported and serrated slide reduces felt recoil and muzzle flip while the crowned barrel protects the rifling at the muzzle for consistent accuracy. A brass insert front sight paired with an adjustable white-dot Novak rear sight gives the shooter a fast sight picture up close and a precise one at distance. The beavertail grip safety combined with an ambidextrous thumb safety makes the pistol comfortable and safe to carry and shoot for right or left-hand users. White pearlized grips featuring a logo medallion give the Golden Eagle Gen 2 a classic upscale look that matches its gold finish while a Monoblock trigger with the bow and shoe machined from one unit delivers a cleaner more consistent trigger pull. At 8+1 capacity and an overall length of 8.5 inches the pistol balances a full-size Government platform with manageable proportions. It ships complete with two magazines a barrel bushing wrench a cleaning kit a gun lock and a hard case with laser-cut foam compartments for every included item. The Iver Johnson Arms Golden Eagle Gen 2 is a premium showpiece 1911 built for collectors and shooters who want their pistol to stand out on the range or at the range bag.
