HEXMAG Series 2 Shorty Magazine Features The Hexmag Series 2 Shorty is built from Hexmag s proprietary carbon fiber material giving it the strength to stand up to drops rough handling and repeated loading cycles that sport and tactical shooters put magazines through. Its patented HEXTURE surface pattern improves grip in wet or gloved hands making magazine changes faster and more reliable under stress. Redesigned feed lip geometry strengthens the magazine s most failure prone area while also improving versatility across different AR-15 platform rifles. Stripper clip guides built into the feed lips allow for faster reloading directly from stripper clips when speed matters most. Inside the magazine a heat treated stainless steel spring is engineered for extended storage periods so the magazine can be loaded and set aside for long term readiness without losing spring tension. The Translucent Clear body lets shooters quickly glance at remaining round count without removing the magazine a practical feature during training or in the field. Holding 20 rounds of 5.56 NATO or .223 Rem the Series 2 Shorty offers a lower profile option for shooters who prefer a more compact magazine than a standard 30 round body. Made in the USA the Hexmag Series 2 Shorty is built for shooters who demand proven reliability from their AR-15 magazines.
