Hexmag Series 2 Shorty Magazine Features The Hexmag Series 2 Shorty magazine is built from a proprietary carbon fiber reinforced polymer with the patented HEXTURE surface pattern providing a superior grip during fast magazine changes even with wet or gloved hands. Redesigned feed lip geometry improves reliability and versatility maintaining consistent round presentation across the full 20 round capacity in 5.56 NATO or .223 Remington. Stripper clip guides molded into the top of the magazine allow shooters to load rounds directly from a stripper clip which speeds up range prep and administrative reloads considerably. A heat-treated stainless-steel spring is engineered to hold its tension through extended storage periods so the magazine performs reliably even after sitting loaded for months. The deep catch pocket on this magazine is shaped to give the shooter s support hand a rock solid grip during the draw and insertion of a fresh magazine which matters most under time pressure in competition or training. Its translucent smoke coloring lets a shooter see remaining round count at a glance without pulling the magazine to check. Built to fit standard AR-15 pattern rifles this magazine is a drop-in replacement or supplement to a shooter s existing magazine pouch lineup. The Hexmag Series 2 Shorty is a strong feature rich option for competitors and tactical shooters running AR platform rifles.
