GG and G Charging Handle Features The GG and G Charging Handle was developed specifically to address a weakness in the Beretta 1301 Tactical s factory bolt handle which is partially constructed from plastic and carries a real risk of failing or breaking under stress. GG and G points out that encountering a barricade or other obstacle while trying to retract the bolt is exactly the kind of high anxiety moment where a failure cannot be tolerated particularly in a defensive shooting scenario. By replacing the factory handle with this slotted tactical design the shooter gains a part built for lightweight consistent and reliable functioning under pressure. The slotted design also lightens the handle compared to GG and G s own standard charging handle offering. Every edge on the charging handle is rounded and de-burred which both improves the shooter s grip and prevents the sharp edges that can otherwise snag on clothing or cut the hand during rapid manipulation. Installation is straightforward requiring only the removal of the small factory bolt retracting handle before the GG and G replacement is fitted in its place. Finished in black to match the Beretta 1301 s factory finish the handle integrates seamlessly with the shotgun s appearance. For Beretta 1301 Tactical owners who want to eliminate a known factory weak point the GG and G Charging Handle is a direct reliability focused upgrade.
