Galco Optic Solution Features The Galco Optic Solution modernizes the classic shoulder rig concept by making it compatible with most carry-style red dot optics whether closed or open-emitter bringing the design in line with today s optic-equipped EDC pistols. The positioning of the holster s swivel keepers allows adjustment to a muzzle up or butt down position for increased concealment or a true horizontal carry position that works best for users with deep chests or shorter-barreled pistols. The retention strap features a new thumb break using a multi-curved scalloped polymer release that guides the thumb perfectly into the draw position for a fast ergonomic release. On this 1911 fit the thumb break uses Galco s deactivation block that positively engages the thumb safety when the pistol is holstered carrying the 1911 in proper cocked and locked readiness. The open-front horizontal magazine carrier presents two spare magazines ready for quick reloads with twin tension units allowing the user to set each magazine s retention level independently. A full-grain leather harness incorporates Galco s durable Flexalon swivel plate allowing each of the four straps to move independently for all-day comfort. The straps measure 1.5 inches wide at the shoulders balancing carrying comfort with easy concealment under a jacket or covering garment. Fitting chests up to 56 inches this Galco Optic Solution shoulder rig is available for sale at GrabAGun for Kimber 1911 owners who want a comfortable modern shoulder carry system compatible with mounted optics.
