Every barrel is magnetic particle inspected as part of Faxon s quality control process carrying over the same standards Faxon applies to its AR-15 and pistol barrels. A recessed target crown protects the critical muzzle rifling from dings and dents that would otherwise open up groups. Finished in black salt bath nitride the barrel resists corrosion and wear while keeping a low maintenance low glare exterior.
