Faxon Firearms Sport Features The Faxon Firearms Sport is built around a Faxon Duty Series HBAR profile barrel chambered in 5.56 NATO finished in black nitride inside and out for durability corrosion resistance and sustained precision over years of use. The 16 barrel with a 1:8 twist stabilizes a wide range of bullet weights giving shooters flexibility in ammunition selection. The mid-length gas system delivers smoother cycling and a reduced recoil impulse compared to a carbine-length setup making the rifle more comfortable to shoot over extended range sessions. An A2 flash hider caps the 1/2x28 threaded muzzle controlling flash signature during rapid strings of fire. The M-LOK handguard provides ample real estate for mounting lights lasers and foregrips exactly where the shooter needs them while the M4 style collapsible stock allows quick length of pull adjustments to fit different shooters. A mil-spec trigger and safety selector keep the manual controls familiar to anyone experienced with the AR-15 platform. The Picatinny rail atop the aluminum receiver provides a stable mounting surface for optics suited to range work or defensive use. Shipping with a Magpul Gen M2 10-round magazine the Faxon Firearms Sport is available for sale at GrabAGun for shooters who want a purpose-built accuracy-focused 5.56 rifle.
