Cold Steel Gentleman s Stockman Features The Cold Steel Gentleman s Stockman carries three distinct blades for three distinct jobs the 2.5 inch clip point for piercing and detail cutting the 2.1 inch spey blade for skinning and gutting work and the 2 inch sheepsfoot blade for controlled slicing without the risk of an accidental puncture. All three blades are made from 8Cr13MoV stainless steel a tough corrosion resistant alloy that takes and holds a sharp edge through repeated use. A satin finish and plain edge keep the blades easy to sharpen and maintain in the field or at home. The slip joint locking mechanism uses traditional nail nick opening on each blade keeping the profile slim and pocket friendly when closed. Genuine jigged bone handle scales in a brown finish give the knife a substantial old world feel while remaining comfortable to grip during extended use even with gloved hands. Polished metal bolsters cap each end of the handle adding durability at the pivot points and a refined visual contrast against the bone. Closed the knife measures a pocket friendly 3.75 inches opening to a full 6.25 inches with any of its three blades deployed. This Jack Knife pattern design makes the Gentleman s Stockman equally at home for urban errands or rural chores a practical tool built to Cold Steel s quality standards.
