The broad 7.5 inch clip point blade carries a slight curve along its entire length allowing it to perform both a smooth draw cut and a forceful chopping stroke. A slightly concave false edge measuring about 3.5 inches runs along the spine near the tip adding extra cutting capability for detail work. The additional curve near the tip provides plenty of belly making the blade well suited to emergency field dressing and skinning tasks.
