Citadel Firearms Boss25 Features The Citadel Boss25 is built on an AR-style platform giving operators familiar controls and ergonomics adapted to a semi-auto 12 gauge shotgun. The steel receiver is finished in an eye-catching Texas Flag pattern and topped with a full length Picatinny rail for mounting optics or backup sights. A lower Picatinny rail forend gives shooters room to add lights lasers or a foregrip for improved control during rapid strings of fire. The 18.75 inch threaded barrel pairs with a muzzle brake to help manage recoil and muzzle rise across a 3 inch chamber capable of running a wide range of 12 gauge loads. Feeding from detachable box magazines the Boss25 ships with two 5-round magazines for a 5+1 capacity giving shooters quick reloads compared to a traditional tube fed shotgun. An adjustable cheek comb on the synthetic stock lets shooters dial in a proper cheek weld when running a mounted optic or the included adjustable folding tactical sights. A polymer pistol grip and thumb safety keep the manual of arms consistent with AR-15 pattern rifles for shooters who already run that platform. At 8 lbs the Boss25 balances tactical capability with a weight that is still manageable for extended range or defensive use.
