Citadel Firearms Boss25 Features The Citadel Boss25 is built on an AR-style platform which means shooters already familiar with AR-pattern ergonomics will find the controls and general manual of arms intuitive from the first time they pick it up. The semi-auto action cycles a 3 inch chamber giving this shotgun the versatility to run everything from light target loads to heavy magnum shells depending on the task at hand. An 18.75 inch threaded barrel accepts muzzle devices and currently ships with a factory muzzle brake to help manage recoil during rapid strings of fire. Detachable 5 round box magazines two of which are included allow for much faster reloads than a traditional tube-fed shotgun a significant advantage in a defensive or competitive shooting context. The synthetic stock features an adjustable cheek comb letting shooters dial in proper eye alignment with whatever optic or sighting system they choose to mount. Picatinny rail sections run along both the top of the steel receiver and the lower forend giving shooters extensive real estate to mount optics lights lasers and vertical grips. Adjustable folding raised tactical sights come standard providing a fast backup sighting option even when an optic is mounted on the top rail. A polymer pistol grip and thumb safety round out the ergonomic package and at 8 pounds total weight the Boss25 remains manageable despite its aggressive tactical profile.
