Birchwood Casey Centerfire KYL Features The Birchwood Casey Centerfire KYL set includes seven powder coated steel plates in graduated sizes from 2 inches to 8 inches giving shooters a built in progression for testing precision at the range. Each plate is cut from 3/8 inch steel rated for centerfire use standing up to repeated impacts from pistol and rifle rounds without deforming or cracking under normal use. The black powder coat finish improves target visibility against most backgrounds while also resisting rust and wear from repeated exposure to the elements. Shooters commonly use the graduated sizes to run knock your own list drills working from the largest plate down to the smallest as a measure of improving accuracy. The angled standing design lets each target lean against the ground on its own eliminating the need for a separate stand or rack and making the whole set easy to transport and set up at any range. This portability means the set packs down small for a truck bed or range bag and can be deployed quickly at the start of a session. Because the plates are freestanding shooters can space them out at different distances or cluster them for rapid target transition drills. This steel target set is a durable versatile training tool for any centerfire shooter looking to sharpen precision under time or distance pressure.
