Birchwood Casey Centerfire AR500 Gong Features The Birchwood Casey Centerfire AR500 Gong is manufactured from 3/8 inch AR500 steel a hardened alloy chosen specifically for its ability to resist cratering and spalling under repeated centerfire impacts. This 8 inch round target is rated to handle up to 3000 ft lbs of bullet energy giving shooters confidence running common rifle and handgun calibers without worrying about premature wear. Precision laser cutting leaves every edge smooth and burr free reducing the risk of dangerous metal fragmentation compared to torch cut or stamped targets. The bright white powder coat finish stands out clearly against most backgrounds helping shooters call their hits instantly even at extended distances. Square mounting holes paired with a double hang hole design give shooters multiple ways to hang or bolt the gong using carriage bolts chain or a target stand of their choosing. This flexibility makes it simple to build a custom range layout whether that means a single plate for quick dry fire drills or a full course of fire with several gongs set at varying distances. The audible clang and visual swing of the target provide instant feedback which is valuable for both personal defense training and recreational practice sessions. Backed by Birchwood Casey a trusted name among serious shooters and beginners alike this gong is for sale at GrabAGun for anyone looking to add reliable steel to their shooting setup.
