Birchwood Casey Spring Loaded Popper Target Features The Birchwood Casey Spring Loaded Popper Target is built from 3/8 thick AR500 steel a hardened alloy capable of withstanding repeated impacts from both handgun and rifle calibers without premature wear. The spring reset mechanism is the centerpiece of the design automatically popping the paddle back upright after each hit rather than requiring the shooter to stop and manually reset the target. This auto-resetting action gives immediate visual confirmation of a hit which is valuable for building speed and accuracy during repeated engagement drills. The standing mount design keeps the target elevated and stable during use across varied terrain. A removable coffin shaped paddle target attaches to the stand giving shooters a defined aim point while remaining easy to swap or replace as needed. Ground stakes are included to anchor the stand securely in dirt or grass preventing it from shifting during sustained strings of fire. The black finish on the target stands out clearly against most range backgrounds aiding target acquisition at a distance. For shooters who want a durable self-resetting steel target for handgun and rifle practice the Birchwood Casey Spring Loaded Popper Target is available for sale at GrabAGun.
