AGM UNVG-51 Features The AGM UNVG-51 uses advanced multi-coated optics across an expanded 51 degree field of view giving users a wider window into their surroundings compared to narrower traditional night vision goggles. Built around a Gen 2+ Level 1 image intensifier tube the system delivers 45 to 54 line pairs per millimeter of resolution translating into a clearer more detailed image in low light conditions. Manual gain control lets the operator adjust image brightness on the fly maintaining the best possible picture quality as ambient light conditions shift throughout a night operation. The independent movement of each tube pod allows the UNVG-51 to run in either single or dual eye configurations giving flexibility depending on the specific task at hand. Each tube pod automatically powers off when turned sideways a safety feature that both conserves battery life and protects the image intensifier tube from unintended exposure. The compact composite housing makes the UNVG-51 built to last while keeping weight manageable at 1.2 pounds. An integral infrared illuminator extends usability into total darkness for close range tasks like reading a map while the 185 degree dovetail and helmet mount compatibility lets the system attach to standard head mounted platforms. Powered by a single AA alkaline battery for up to 15 hours or the included external battery pack for up to 50 hours the UNVG-51 is built for extended operations and ships complete with a carrying case neck strap and connecting cable for sale at GrabAGun.
