evo.com | Simply. Skis > The Simply. Recreation Skis are an all-mountain work of art that transform every mountain into your personal playground with effortless maneuverability and a surf-inspired asymmetrical fishtail design. These Swiss made do-it-alls are lightweight, touring-friendly, and built to adapt - delivering playful performance whether you're carving groomers, charging through moguls, or exploring untouched terrain. Cork Spatula In place of plastic (ABS), cork spacers made from recycled wine stoppers are used in the nose. Besides being a more durable choice, this alternative reduces weight and effectively dampens vibrations. Sintered PE-UHWD Base The base is made of high-density polyethylene (sintered PE-UHWD), ensuring excellent glide performance, ease of maintenance and durability. Wider Edges Wider edges allow increased solidity, enhancing overall durability. Next Core(C) The Next Core(C) technology combines oriented high-density wooden stingers and lightweight wood. This fusion of materials breaks the boundaries between lightness and skiability, delivering exceptional reactivity, stability, and carving capabilities. Swiss Made From initial research and prototypes to the final product, everything is made in Switzerland-everything is made by us. This has been made possible thanks to our partnership with First Track, a recognized research and development hub that recently opened a next-generation ski factory near Verbier - Switzerland. The Salomon Strive 14 GW Ski Bindings are an all-new lightweight resort ripper for responsive freeriding. The design of the LDN toepiece puts you close to the snow for maximum contact and response, enhancing power transmission for a smooth on-snow feel. The superlight design is reinforced with metal in key areas, and 45mm of elastic travel means they can handle rough riding without letting you down. The low profile Strive 14 bindings set a new standard in all-mountain performance. We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width. LDN Toe Low. Direct. Neutral. These are the deign characteristics of the revolutionary new LDN Toepiece. A lower center of gravity places the binding closer to the ski for better next-to-snow feel and the wide base delivers more direct response and reaction throughout the turn. The flatter, neutral stance puts the skier in a more balanced position by preserving the natural flex and arc of the ski. Locking Brakes The brakes feature a smartly designed clip-in system that locks the skis together as you throw them over your shoulder, making long hauls easy! Automatic Toe Adaptation The toe adapts automatically to your alpine normed boot height and ensures constant release values, even on worn out boots. Height 19.6mm | Simply.
