evo.com | K2 Skis > The K2 Omen Team Skis are wide enough at 96mm to serve as your daily driver and gutsy enough to stomp your biggest tricks in the park or elsewhere on the mountain. With a stiffer flex than the average park ski, the Omen Team is designed for those who already have their bag of tricks dialed and are ready to amp up the volume. An Aspen Micro Block core and Carbon, Flax and Fiberglass Spectral Braid layup leave nothing wanting - this ski is ready to soar. Sintered Base We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width. All-Terrain Twin Rocker A variation on K2's All-Terrain Rocker, but with the same gradual early rise at both tip and tail. Twin Tech Sidewalls Full length sidewall construction for durability and energy transfer. Aspen Micro Block Core Many small stringers of Aspen give a consistent flex, smooth feel, and damp ride. Be kind to your knees and they will be kind to you. The Look SPX 12 GW Pro Ski Bindings are a great place to start, offering 27 mm of vertical elasticity in the heel and 45 mm of lateral elasticity in the toe for superior shock absorption and rentention, keeping you attached to your ski right up until the moment you don't want to be. Hear that? That's your knees breathing a sigh of relief. We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width. Long Elasticity Longer elastic travel ensures more reliable retention to keep you in when you need. LOOK bindings offer the most elastic travel (lateral and vertical) and the fastest re-centering prior to release, ensuring superior shock absorption to reduce unwanted pre-release. SPX Heel Piece LOOK's SPX heel design offers 27mm of elastic travel for best-in-class shock absorption, confident retention, and a significant reduction in unwanted prerelease. An oversize heel pivot increases coupling strength (boot-binding interface) for more efficient power transmission. Full Action Toe | 45 mm Elasticity Featuring 45mm of elastic travel and 180deg multi-directional release, the Full Action toe piece delivers best-in-class retention and release and increased coupling strength (boot-to-binding interface) for maximum power transmission.
