evo.com | Bataleon Snowboards > The Bataleon Tornado x Beyond Medals Snowboard, is a true co-pilot that keeps up when terrain gets aggressive and conditions get unpredictable. The new tri-radial shape and SideKick 2.0 exist to give it a wider sweet spot, quick and playful when you want to mess around, but stable and locked-in the moment you decide to open it up. With a mid-stiff flex, it's built for riders who want one board that can handle it all. Medium Camber Camber profiles are defined from low to high. Higher camber make for more dynamic boards that need to be ridden more aggressively to get maximum performance. Lower camber boards are smoother on lower speeds and in powder. All camber profiles run from nose to tail. higher is not always better... Step Down Rails This topsheet 3D effect features a slight taper of the deck along the top of the sidewall. This reduces the top-profile, saving weight and adding more precision to your carves. 2 x 4 Insert Pattern Flex Rating 8 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) Carbon Stringers Carbon is incredibly lightweight and delivers explosive pop, quick edge response, and exceptional dampening at high speeds. By incorporating carbon fiber stringers into the board's construction, we can fine-tune the flex and elevate your ride to the next level. Bataleon strategically place carbon stringers in specific areas of the board to fine-tune the feel of each model. The Bataleon Ghost FASE Snowboard Bindings are the ones that disappear the moment you strap in. The MonoFrame chassis puts you in direct contact with your board so every subtle shift in weight actually does something, and the AutoBack highback closes automatically when you step in so you're moving while everyone else is still bent over. AuxTech Cradle straps expand around your boot instead of crushing it, keeping blood flowing and feet comfortable deep into the day when most bindings start to feel like a punishment. Set your SlapRatchet once, forget it exists, go ride! MonoFrame Chassis A one-piece chassis that provides a direct connection to the snowboard, allowing consistent flex and feel while riding, with fiberglass added to increase responsiveness. Lock-in SlapRatchet Quick tightening with reliable hold. Set it and forget it, or enjoy easy adjustment on the go. Ghost Highback The AutoBack offers hands-free entry, automatically closing when the boot enters and opening when it's time to unstrap. It also folds flat for skating, chairlifts, and storage. Adjustable Toe Ramp Fully adjustable to dial in a perfect fit no matter which boot you're riding in. FASE(R) Fast Entry System Step in, highback closes, ride.
