What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I wore the Wall Rider 2. 0 Helmet on a long multipitch route and forgot I had it on within the first few moves, which says everything about how light it is. The vented shell kept my head cool through some sunny, exposed sections, and I never had to fuss with the rear adjustment once I dialed it in at the base."A long multipitch day in the sun calls for protection that doesn't feel like a burden by pitch six, and the Wall Rider 2. 0 Helmet from Mammut delivers exactly that. Clip it on at the base, dial in the rear adjustment once, and forget it's there while you focus on crux moves and exposed traverses instead of your gear. The hybrid build pairs an ABS hardshell with recycled EPP and EPS foam, giving you low-profile protection against side, front, and rear impacts without the bulk of older helmet designs. Large vents and internal air channels keep your head cool on long approaches, while the removable bamboo padding wipes clean after a sweaty day on the wall, so the helmet stays as low-maintenance as it is light.
