What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"The G-Screamer gives me peace of mind when dealing with sketchy protection. It's lightweight, packs small, and significantly reduces the impact on anchors during falls-ideal for alpine and ice climbing adventures."When the terrain tests our limits, the Edelrid G-Screamer becomes a trusted companion for managing risk in alpine, big wall, and ice climbing. Designed to mitigate the load on questionable anchor points, this compact HMPE sling features an integrated shock absorber that deploys during falls, reducing impact force to less than 4kN. It's small enough to carry as a backup on our harness yet offers the reassurance we need in critical situations. Innovative in its design, the G-Screamer also works seamlessly with rope clamps for belaying a follower, reducing the risk of rope damage in the event of a fall. Weighing under 50 grams and functioning like a quickdraw sling, it provides dynamic safety without adding unnecessary bulk to our gear. From wide gaps to fragile placements, the G-Screamer is an essential safety tool for tackling the vertical world.
