Sharps Bros Heatseeker Chassis for Ruger American Short Action Features The Sharps Bros. Heatseeker Chassis is machined from billet 6061-T6 aluminum giving the rifle a rigid consistent platform that improves repeatability over a factory polymer or wood stock. A matte black Cerakote finish covers both the chassis body and the handguard providing a durable corrosion-resistant surface that holds up to field and range use. The included 14 handguard is cut from a unique extrusion shape exclusive to Sharps Bros adding a distinctive profile while keeping weight manageable at roughly 10 ounces. A 1913 Picatinny rail interface allows shooters to mount a wide range of optics and accessories with a standardized footprint. M-LOK slots run along four sides of the handguard opening up mounting options for lights bipods night vision and ARCA-style rail sections depending on the shooter s needs. Two quick disconnect sling fittings per side give flexible sling attachment points for different carry preferences. Designed specifically to fit the Ruger American Short Action the Heatseeker drops in as an affordable way to modernize a proven bolt action without a full custom rebuild. The Sharps Bros. Heatseeker Chassis gives Ruger American owners a sleek versatile upgrade path for improved ergonomics and accessory compatibility.
